A well versed communications professional and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in working closely with brands across different verticals and geographies, Ruby Sinha is the Founder and Managing Director of Kommune Brand Communications, am award winning 360-degree brand communications firm with branches across India. She started Kommune in 2012 after holding senior positions in leading global agencies like 20:20 MSL where she was Branch Director heading Consumer Practice and GCI- Grey Global Group (WPP Network) where she was Director- North India. Kommune is today ranked amongst the top 50 PR firms in India and has been adjudged as a specialist agency in the APAC region for Technology/Telecom sector by the Holmes Report. Kommune has some time back unveiled TechKomms – a Report on Public Relations and Communication Trends for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in association with its research and insights partner techARC. Ruby has also been included in Reputation Today magazine’s first ever list of “100 Most Important Professionals in Indian Public Relations and Corporate Communications” in 2017 as well as The Reputation Today Mighty 50 list of Indian Public Relations and Corporate Communications in 2019 and the Business World Group’s e4m Top 100 Influential Game Changers list of Public Relations and Corporate Communications in 2019.

Experiencing the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, she also founded sheatwork.com, a one-stop knowledge hub for women entrepreneurs globally. She has also been in the panel of experts of “सक्ष-हम– Power of She”, an initiative of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), a body with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India to support and encourage entrepreneurship among women under ‘Digital India’. She was also a jury member in the Enactus World Cup 2017 held in Excel London where students from 36 countries presented their entrepreneurship ideas on community empowerment. She is also an Hony. Advisor in the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) as well as the Convenor of the Women’s wing of BRICS CCI. She writes a regular column on entrepreneurship issues titled “Woman’s Entrechat” in Woman’s Era magazine and also contributes opinion pieces on women entrepreneurship. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and has also done a Diploma in Film Making Course from Eastern India’s oldest film institute- Chitrabani. She started her career as a journalist with the Indian Express Group and has also worked as an Assistant Director with ETV- Bangla. She has also been in-charge of a regular program on AIR titled “World of Science.”
